Spectrum Primary Care’s Digital Doctor service enables employers to provide their staff with 24/7/365 access to Doctor consultations.

Our Doctors can provide your employees with the following:

  • Diagnosis of symptoms

  • Advice and information on treating symptoms, taking medication etc

  • Prescriptions (initial and repeat)

How the service works:

Booking an appointment

Your employees will be provided with a dedicated link to our online booking facility, which will enable them to book their digital doctor appointment with one of our team of highly qualified doctors, at a time that best suits them. Your employees can also choose to either book a video or a phone consultation.

How to access the virtual consultation

Once a digital doctor consultation is booked, your employee will receive a link via SMS or email. When they click on the link,  it will bring them straight into the virtual clinic with the Doctor at the time of the appointment.

If your employee selects a phone appointment, one of our Doctors will contact them at the time chosen by your employee.

Prescription Arranged As Needed

If, after the consultation, your employee requires a prescription, we can then arrange for this to be sent to your employee’s pharmacy of choice via secure email.


Flexible Pricing Options

Spectrum Primary Care provide you with a range of payment options including:

  • Employer paid option (subscription model)

  • Employer subsidised option (discounted fee per consultations)

Employer Paid Option

With this option a fee per employee is paid monthly, with no fee  payable per consultation.

Employees will then have unlimited  access to the Digital Doctor service within our service hours (7 days a week). 

Employer Subsidised Option

With this option, you would pay a fixed monthly fee. In lieu of this fee the cost per digital doctor consultation would be heavily discounted. This rate would be fixed irrespective of what time of day or week your employee availed of the service.

Spectrum Primary Care also enables employers to provide their employees with Doctor consultations on-site.

The Service Is Rolled Out

Once the Doctor is on site, we will provide the necessary signage to direct your employees to where your on-site Doctor is based. Our booking solution will provide our Doctor with the list of attendees so the service runs seamlessly.

Comprehensive Anonymous Reporting

We can provide you anonymised reports on booking and attendance levels if required

These consultations can be provided:

  • Via our digital doctor service

Accessing this service is very straightforward.

Your customers would be provided with a dedicated phone number, where they can call our 24/7 care management team to book an appointment.

Alternatively they can fill out an online form and our 24/7 care management team will call them to book an appointment.

If, after the consultation, your customer requires a prescription, this can be sent digitally to the Pharmacy chosen by your customer…. it’s as simple as that.

This service is ideal for customers who require Doctor services when they are overseas and don’t have access to their local Doctor.

All of our Doctors are fully qualified and IMC-registered, under the supervision of our Medical Director, ensuring insurers and their customers receive the highest quality service possible.

We have also been providing nursing homes with our locum Doctor services for over 20 years. There are two ways we provide locum services, as follows:

Tele-Locum Service

Our tele-locum service is available to nursing homes anywhere in Ireland. It uses our Tele-clinic technology to enable our locum Doctor to attend to your residents remotely on a sessional basis.

Onsite Locum Service

With our on-site locum service, we will provide you with a Doctor who can work on-site and treat your residents on a sessional basis.

Whether your Locum need is short term or long term, we can provide Doctors for vital services whenever you require them, and at very competitive rates.

Our team of Locum Doctors, headed up by our Medical Director, are all fully qualified and IMC registered, as well as being fully insured and Garda vetted.

Spectrum Health can also provide you with access to our team of dieticians and physiotherapists on a locum basis.

Our locum dieticians and physiotherapists are available on a day rate basis and can provide services on site or via video consultation

 

GP Practice Support Services:

We provide vital support services to GP practices and have continued to increase the range of services to support Practices across the spectrum.

One of our core services is providing you with out-of-hours support and seeing your patients on your behalf outside of your surgery hours. We provide two levels of service as follows:

Tele Out of Hours service

Our Tele Out of Hours service provides all your patients with 24/7 access to phone, video or teleclinic consultations.

Premium Out of Hours service

Our Premium Out of Hours service also provides your patients with a house call service.

To book their appointment, all your patient needs to do is call our patient management team or book their appointment online.

After every consultation with your patients, a medical record will be securely sent to you via healthmail to ensure continuity of care.
