Paul Fallon Runs Around Ireland

In this article:

We would like to wish Paul Fallon good luck on his brave running journey of 1,000 miles around Ireland in the 31 days of December. Also congratulations are in order for the last 7 days where he has run from the phoenix park in Dublin to Clonmel in Tipperary via Wicklow, Wexford, Kilkenny and Waterford.

Paul, a Galway native, is completing the ‘1,000 Mile Run for Home’ to raise money for the “On the Run Again” (OTRA) programme. OTRA is a 24 week development programme which helps homeless people in Ireland rehabilitate back into society through participation in a running program.

Paul aims to run 33 miles a day and hopes to raise €100,000 for the cause. He has asked the public to join him in his fundraising effort and would love if people ran or walked for 1 mile with him at any of the bigger towns or cities such as Cork, Limerick, Athlone, Castlebar etc.

The Physio Company will be assisting Paul on his journey to reach Galway City by New Year’s Eve. Our expert sports Physio team will be treating him for any aches and pains throughout any of our clinics he is passing.
221 miles down – 779 miles to go… Best of Luck Paul!
