Nail Surgery procedure and follow up appointments: €405.

We have wide availability for the initial assessment consultation, as this can be carried out in any of our nationwide network of clinics.

Our clinic surgeries are carried out on Saturdays.

Your initial assessment for toenail surgery can be completed by any of our nationwide team of podiatrists & chiropodists. The nail surgery itself will be carried out in our specialist surgery clinic in Drumcondra, Dublin.

Some health insurance policies may provide partial cover to the cost of your nail surgery procedure – we recommend checking your policy to understand what coverage is provided to you.

Spectrum Health will provide you with a receipt for your surgery with a full breakdown of the costs involved.

Nail surgery generally takes about one hour to complete:

  • Preparation of the nail for surgery
  • (Local) Anaesthesia
  • Surgery
  • Dressing

Our podiatrist will examine your condition during the assessment, and if surgery is not deemed suitable, you may be advised to take routine visits to manage the issue, or alternatively, a GP referral.

Fees & Schedule

Before you book.

Assessment (30 mins): €70

At this appointment the Podiatrist will conduct a full assessment to determine if nail surgery is required. If it is not required the Podiatrist will provide the necessary treatment and/or advice on next best steps.

If nail surgery is required, the Podiatrist will go through the pre-surgery protocol which includes a pre-surgery questionnaire, informed consent and advice on preparing for your surgery.

The surgery and the mandatory two follow up appointments will then be scheduled in.

Nail Surgery: €405

Includes Surgery (approx. 60 mins) and two follow up appointments 2 and 4 days after surgery to change dressings, clean wound and monitor progress.

Total cost €475

Please note:

We can complete your initial 30 minute assessment in any of our nationwide clinics, however your nail surgery will be carried out in our specialist clinic in Drumcondra, Dublin.

Your podiatrist will guide you through the next steps during your assessment as well as scheduling your surgery appointment. 

You will not be charged for nail surgery until after your initial assessment.
